What are product projects and modules?
A product project is reusable background about what you sell and who you are. Modules break the product into focus areas. Link a project (and optionally one module) when building an Insight interview so the agent asks grounded questions and analysis stays on-topic.
Product / project
The top-level record for one offering or workstream — name, sector, core promise, and extra facts. Think “Acme Analytics Platform”, not a single study. You can maintain several projects if you run multiple products.
Module
A slice of the product you want sharper questions about — checkout, onboarding, billing, a specific feature. Each module has a functional definition, user benefit, development status (idea / beta / live), and criticality. Studies can link to the whole project or zoom into one module.
Brand / organization (optional)
Company name, website, and short about text. Helps the assistant use correct branding and answer participant questions about who you are — separate from the product promise fields.
Link to Insight interviews
In the interview builder (Context tab), attach a product project so objectives and chat use this DNA. Optionally pick a module to steer follow-ups. Not required for every study, but essential when interviews must reflect real product facts.
CRM groups on a project
On the project detail page you choose which participant groups belong to this product. Studies linked to the project can then send CRM invites to those groups. Manage people on the Participants page; here you only assign groups.
