Insight agent
KogniFeed’s AI that runs interviews end-to-end: moderates, captures blueprint fields, and feeds post-session analysis.
An Insight agent is KogniFeed’s AI interviewer. You define goals, persona, tone, information goals, and prohibited topics; the agent conducts each participant session without a live moderator on the call. It is the product surface that turns a research brief into runnable interviews.
During chat it can show selectable controls, fill blueprint fields, and pace follow-ups according to session shape (pulse vs deep dive). After the session, server-side analysis creates notes, themes, and metrics you can edit in the analysis hub — not a sealed black-box PDF.
Insight agents are built for owned audiences — customers, users, employees — distributed via branded link, CRM invite, website widget, or API. Free plans include monthly Insight sessions so teams can prove value before scaling continuous programs.
Configure an Insight agent when you own the audience and want one system for moderation, structured capture, and analysis. Look elsewhere for panel recruitment marketplaces or for tools that only embed a form with no adaptive interviewing.
In the glossary map: the Insight agent performs AI-moderated interviews using conversational interviewing methods; conversational surveys are the participant-facing study type; blueprint fields and session shape are configuration layers; the analysis hub is where outputs land.
When it matters
- You want AI moderation plus structured fields in one study configuration.
- Distribution must mix CRM, public link, embed, and API triggers.
- Analysis must be editable by PMs and researchers, not only exported as raw chat.
- You are evaluating platforms specifically for owned-audience Insight programs.
Common mistakes
- Leaving information goals empty and expecting useful themes by default.
- Ignoring prohibited topics on regulated or sensitive journeys.
- Comparing Insight agents only on chat UI, not on blueprint + analysis editability.
